Vairamuthu’s son to wed

It's time for wedding bells to ring in Vairamuthu's house. The ace lyricist's younger son Kapilan will enter wedlock with Dr Ramya at a grand ceremony to be presided over by Chief Minister M Karunanidhi in Chennai on September 5.

According to family sources, Kapilan has completed his degree at Queensland University in Australia and is now one of the directors of Global Media. "But he is skilled in Tamil too," they say.

Kapilan's bride Ramya is the daughter of Tiruchi District Judge M Mayandi and Madurai Yadava College head of history department, Professor Amudha. "This is an arranged marriage," sources maintain.

The wedding will take place at Kalaignar Arangam inside the DMK headquarters Anna Arivalayam premises. "Top guns of Tamil cinema and politics will attend the grand ceremony," sources add.
