If Kollywood is stormed by multifaceted personalities, S P B Charan has an important place in the list. The singer-producer-actor-distributor, who has donned the greasepaint in 'Va- Quarter Cutting', has won appreciations from the directors of the film, Pushkar and Gayathri.
"We wanted a sweet-faced, chubby guy for the character. And the face that instantly struck our minds was that of Charan. When approached, he gleefully accepted the offer", say the directors.
"He is a cool actor who comes to the sets well-prepared", Pushkar and Gayathri say and add: "In a particular scene, he had to deliver a very lengthy dialogue in one take. When all of us were wondering, he did it with ease".
Happy about the way the film has shaped up, the director duo says: "Almost all the scenes were shot during the night. Everyone in the team had to fight with their biological clock for many a month".
