Rajini fans climb hill

Rajini fans are always ready to do anything for their 'Thalaivar'. A section of them proved this once again on Saturday, when they climbed the 1,305 steps of the renowned Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple at Sholingur on their knees to pray for the success of 'Enthiran'.
Cutting across age barriers, nearly 500 ardent fans of the Superstar climbed the Arulmighu Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy shrine atop the hills by their knees, Saturday evening.
"Saturday is one of the auspicious days for the Lord here. So we decided to take this spiritual endeavour today praying for the success of 'Enthiran'. It took little more than three hours for us to reach the sanctum sanctorum from the foothills", one of the office bearers of a Rajini fan club said.
The fans also raised slogans in praise of Rajini and conducted special pujas for their matinee idol and the film. "We are eagerly waiting for October 1, the day our Thalaivar film will be released", they said in chorus.
