Rajiv Menon is one of the few faces in Tamil cinema who feels the need for quality technicians to make quality films. A few years ago, he floated Mindscreen Film Institute, which will offer specialised courses on various aspects of film making.
Now, the director-cinematographer will hold a workshop on filmmaking for students who would participate in an inter-collegiate film competition on the theme of organ donation, organised by Mohan Foundation.
The competition, 'Take 2 – Give a Second Chance at Life’, is open to all students of visual communication in Chennai. Those interested must submit their entries before October 3. The final event will be held on October 10.
To equip students taking part in the contest, Rajiv Menon will conduct a free pre-competition workshop on Wednesday between 4 pm and 6 pm at Mindscreen Film Institute, No 4, Kanniamman Koil Street (Off Dr Ranga Road), Chennai – 600004.
