Karthi, who is riding high on a success wave, will have his next release, 'Siruthai', in December. The film, directed by Tollywood filmmaker Shiva, is a remake of Telugu blockbuster 'Vikramarkudu', say sources in the know.
"Shiva has earlier directed films like 'Souryam' and 'Sankham'. His Kollywood debut will be 'Siruthai', which has Tamannah opposite Karthi. Comedy portion will be taken care of by Santhanam", they say.
After a gap, music composer Vidyasagar is back on 'track' with this film, which is being cinematographed by Velraj and edited by Anthony. K E Gnanavelraja of Studio Green is producing 'Siruthai' on a big budget.
"After completing some important portions in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, the film's unit will soon leave for foreign locales to can songs and crucial scenes. It will be a full length commercial entertainer", add sources.
