Mr. Perfectionist has been keeping the entire Nation awaited upon his next film. The actor's previous release '3 Idiots' was a blockbuster and it's been a year after its release. Yet, the actor hasn't signed any films till the date. One reason was that he was keenly looking for a different script and held discussions with many filmmakers. The other factor was that Amir Khan was busy involved in the production of various films 'Peepli Live' and 'Dhobi Ghat'.

'Dhobi Ghat' is produced by Amir Khan and marks the debut directorial of his wife Kiran Rao. The film revolves around 4 different characters marking the upper-n-lower strata of Mumbai with an unexpected twist in the climax. The film has been already premiered in various film festivals and has received more appreciations.

Getting on with Amir Khan's next film, it is expected that he may perform the baddie role in 'Dhoom-3' to be directed by Aditya Chopra. It is worth mentioning that Dhoom series always finds more scope for the negative characters than the protagonists. 'Dhoom' had John Abraham playing such role followed by Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai in 'Dhoom-2'.
