Asin's infamous Sri Lankan trip is still making her life miserable. May 17 Movement, a pro-Tamil organization has blamed her for blinding people through the eye camps she sponsored in the war torn region of Jaffna.
The organization has said that ten people became totally blind after receiving treatment in camps organised by Asin and asked her to stop associating herself with activities in the island country hiding under philanthropic cover.
The May 17 Movement says it further suspects the motives of Asin in organising such an eye camp in collaboration with the Sri Lankan government. It again asked Asin to explain how and why she was given special access to areas which are forbidden for international NGOs and even the United Nations.
Ever since Asin visited Sri Lanka for the shooting of her Hindi film with Salman Khan and her extended stay in the island even after the shooting was over and her new found closeness to the family of Mahinda Rajapakse, she has been inviting disapprovals from Tamil community around the world.
The Tamil organizations have already called for a boycott of her films. Her only Tamil film 'Kavalan' is also facing troubles at its shooting spots for having Asin in it.
Now with another issue breaking out and it's not all over for Asin yet.
