Court issues summons to Nayan, Prabhu Deva

The Principal Family Court in Chennai has directed Prabhu Deva and Nayantara to appear on October 23 in connection with a petition filed by the former’s wife Ramalath alias Latha, seeking to stay their proposed marriage in December.

According to Anandan, counsel for Ramalath, the Family Court Judge admitted the family dispute petition filed by Ramalath and directed Prabhu Deva and Nayantara to appear before the court and give their version on the proposed marriage today.

Since the two did not turn up, she filed a fresh petition stating that a summon be sent to Prabhu Deva. Since Nayantara does not have a permanent address, she made an attempt to send the notice through South Indian Film Artistes Association which they refused to accept. Following this the court issued the orders.
