Enthiran: The magic continues

Namma Superstar is back with a bang. His latest release Enthiran is a true treat for frenzied fans of action. And with this, Rajni has emerged as the king of Indian box office overtaking the Khans. Enthiran (along with the Telugu and Hindi versions) has broken all records in India by earning a staggering Rs. 100 crore in its opening weekend, which includes overseas collections. There are reports that scalpers were selling tickets for a whopping Rs. 5,000 in Chennai.

The Enthiran fever is not just in India. It looks like the whole world is smitten by the magic of our Superstar and has got a super opening in the US. "Even foreigners are interested to watch our Superstar on screen. When Rajni says 'Maaeey', theatres started to erupt! There were whistles and claps all over! Rajni is a global icon," said Arvind Rajamanickam, the NRI who distributed the Tamil and Telugu versions of Enthiran.
