A debut film to regret for and a second film to boast upon: a tagline of praises for Vikram Kumar. The filmmaker made his debut directorial with 'Alai' starring Simbhu and Trisha in lead roles, which turned to be a box office disaster. Nearly after 5 long years, the filmmaker struck us in astonishment with his spine-tingling supernatural thriller 'Yaavarum Nalam', which was a blockbuster Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.

It's nearly been more than a year and we don't hear anything from the director. Previously he had plans about directing Vijay's film for producer A.M. Rathnam. But now as Vijay is occupied with long queue of projects, it's heard that Vikram Kumar will direct a bilingual movie with Nagarjuna.

Genelia D' Souza will be pairing with Nagarjuna for the female lead character and it's reported to be an edge-seated thriller as 'reincarnation' as the backdrop.
