Trisha, Siddharth team up again

Trisha became an overnight sensation in Tollywood and also bagged couple of awards for her portrayal of a naïve village belle in Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana directed by Prabhu Deva. The actress, who was paired with Siddharth in this movie, went on to become a bankable name in Telugu after the film's release. Later, Mani Ratnam cast this cute pair in his political drama Ayutha Ezhuthu.

Now, the two are all set to sizzle on screen as they are coming together for a Telugu movie. A few days ago, producer Dil Raju, who shares a warm relationship with Siddharth after their smash hit Bommarillu, announced his next project with debutant director Venu Sriram. If sources are to be believed, even though Dil Raju's close aides suggested the names several top heroines for the project, the producer was insistent on casting Trisha and also succeeded in convincing the actress, despite the fact that she is busy with numerous other films. According to insiders, Trisha has a meaty role in the film and perhaps this is the reason why she's agreed to do it.
Meanwhile, the actress is thrilled about her Ajith Venkat Prabhu film Mankatha which went on floors a couple of days ago. Scenes from the film were being filmed at a bungalow on OMR Road in the city. Sources add that the pretty actress will be playing a character that she's never portrayed until now and she also has a new look in the movie, which will be the `surprise factor' for the audience.
