Actor Jeeva's style of choosing best scripts has been paving him a road of success. The actor has now completed shooting for 'Ko' and 'Singam Puli'. He is on full swing with director Kannan's 'Vandhaan Vendraan', which is produced by Vasan Visual Ventures (Naan Kadavul, Boss Engira Baskaran).

Just as the title signifies, the film is about a person striving with all his might to accomplish with his dreams. Jeeva plays the role of Bhaskar, a professional boxer while Telugu actress Taapsee is delineated as an architect. Major portions of the film have been shot in Mumbai. Much alike his mentor Manirathnam, Kannan has raised grand sets of 'Dharavi' slum at a cost of Rs 1.5Crores by art director Rembon.

Kannan has handled story, screenplay and direction and Pattukottai Prabhakar penning dialogues. S. Thamman has tuned melodies to the lyrical lines of Thamarai, Yugabharathy, Na Muthukumar, Kabilan and Gorky. Kannan's most favorite P.G. Muthaiah is the cinematographer and V.T. Vijayan will call for the edits.

K.S. Srinivasan produces the film under the banner of Vasan Visual Ventures.

Director Kannan tots up that VV is not just an action thriller, but an emotional entertainer.
