Despites the actor's previous films turning out to be flop show, Kaavalan has done a remarkable business in overseas market. Witnessing such immense popularity for the actor, Sakthi Chidambaram decided to release the film's music in Malaysia. However, according to the sources, it has been revealed that Vijay intervened and requested the producer to have a simple audio launch in Chennai itself.
