Neetu Chandra, who was initially tipped as the heroine of Ajith's 50th film 'Mankatha', says she had to turn down the project as she could not give the dates demanded by director Venkat Prabhu.
"This is the only reason for me not being part of 'Mankatha'. It is an opportunity I feel that I had missed," says the Bollywood actress, who made her Kollywood entry with Madhavan starrer 'Yavarum Nalam'.
Currently sharing the screen space with 'Jayam' Ravi in Ameer-directed 'Aadhi Bhagawan', Neetu says, "It is a powerful script which has a beautiful role for me. And I am excited about it."
Heaping laurels on Ameer, she says, "He is one filmmaker who takes utmost care to shape his movie. He gives his 100 per cent efforts to his film and it is visible on the sets of Aadhi Bhagwan."
Interestingly, Neetu has danced with Ameer for a special number in Mysskin's 'Yuddham Sei', which has Cheran playing a police officer.
