However the reason behind Srikanth's cameo role still remains confusing. Why did Karu Pazhaniappan opt for this actor for such a small role? Ask Karu and he says, "Soon after completing the script work, I was in search of a prominent actor as his portion is the ultimate twist in tale. I was vividly looking up for an actor like Srikanth as it would carry some interests amongst the audiences. Later I called up Srikanth and he accepted to take up the offer." It is worth mentioning that Srikanth has played lead roles in Karu Pazhaniappan's previous films 'Parthiban Kanavu' and 'Chadurangam'.
