Lingusamy far-fetching his immense popularity through massive hits on the row is all set high on rapid pace to make a bilingual movie. The film 'Vettai' starring Arya and Sameera Reddy in lead roles was launched recently in Chennai. Lingusamy has now finalized Mahesh Babu for the Telugu version, which is tentatively titled as 'Veta'. Sameera Reddy will be repeating the same role here as well and Madhavan will enact the same role in both versions.

The film will start rolling by mid-of-2011 as Dayanidhi Azhagiri is busy now involved in more productions and call sheets of Mahesh Babu are again a factor.

Mahesh Babu's recent release 'Khaleja' turned to be a below average fare and this indeed has urged him to rethink about taking longer breaks between each film. The actor has already started working in 'Dookudu' and Shankar's '3 Idiots' will go on floors from December 6 and Lingusamy's 'Vetta' from next year.
