The special edition of 'Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya' was held on last Saturday that pulled the ardent buffs of A.R. Rahman together at Odyssey. The package costing Rs. 450 of complete album with couple of additional tracks, DVD of the film's Gowtham Menon function at BAFTA and signature T-shirt of A.R. Rahman sold out like hot cakes. However, some of them were disappointed as expectations were high that the album would have the complete background score of this film.

We bring you an exclusive sneak preview on couple of songs:

1. Aromale (Sad Version)

Vocals:Shreya Ghosal

The original version crooned by Alphonse Joseph that turned to be a sensational chartbuster. A reprise of sad version occurs n the background score during the break-up sequence between Karthi and Jessie. Rendered by Shreya Ghosal, the complete song has the same words of 'Aromale'. Tuned completed in the style of Hindustani style, Rahman has used mild beats on accompaniments followed by the realms of Violin in the interludes.

2. Jessie's Land

Vocals:Megha

Humming medley of 'Hosanna' and 'Manipaaya' with A.R. Rahman's aesthetic touch on pianos makes it more fascinating. The song's duration is just of 120secs and yet makes an unique impact upon the listeners.

As on whole, 'Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya' is for the diehard fans of A.R. Rahman as it doesn't boast of any specialties. Literally, it's for those who would like to have the album on their racks as a special collection.
