By now, it is common knowledge that music maestro A.R. Rahman is the brand ambassador for Toyota’s latest sedan Etios. The Academy Award winning composer performed for an exclusive audience at the gala launch event of Toyota Etios in Bengaluru on December 1. Rahman has also composed a theme song ‘Pehli Baar’ for this car.
The Etios sedan was launched by Akio Toyoda, President of Toyota Motor Corporation and scion of Toyota’s founding family. Etios marks Toyota’s entry into the highly competitive B segment (mid-segment) car market in India. The car has been developed specifically for the Indian customers with the slogan ‘World First, India First, My First’.
