Electra: Nayantara gets standing ovation
Popular South Indian actress Nayantara received a standing ovation from the audience at the International Film Festival of Kerala for her beautiful performance in National award winner Shyamaprasad’s Electra. The film, based on Greek mythology, also witnessed the greatest turnout in IFFK so far.
Interestingly, Shyamaprasad has also received lots of appreciation at the IFFI, held in Goa last month. Electra is Nayantara’s comeback movie to realistic cinema after her debut films Manassinakkare (2003) and Rappakal (2005). Apparently it is going to be her best performance till date. The film also has National award winner Prakashraj and Manisha Koirala playing Nayantara’s parents. Sanu John Varghese, who recently did Karthik Calling Karthik, is the cinematographer.Electra Photo Gallery
