India legendary film maker Mani Ratnam is reportedly working on the pre-production of his next film, a period flick set in the 15th century. It is said this will be a straight Tamil film, and will be shot mostly in Kerala. Mani Ratnam’s latest outing Raavanan in Tamil and Raavan in Hindi was screened at the prestigious Venice film festival and Pusan film festival recently.
