Thaa, directed by R.K. Surya Prabhakar (former associate of director Samudrakani), is all set to hit screens soon. Starring newcomers Sri Hari and Nisha from Mumbai in the lead roles, the film has Sri Lankan musician Sri Vijay making his debut as music composer.
Thaa is set in the dry areas of Coimbatore. According to the director, the film is going to be a surprise package for many, because Coimbatore and its surrounding areas are generally considered to be very green. But he has chosen some dry areas on the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border near Chavadi.
Thaa is about a group of people who flock to work in a factory due to failure of their crops. Srihari plays a villager from Chavadi who happens to marry a well-educated girl. But after their marriage, things turn topsy turvy as they find it hard to get accustomed to each other’s way of living.Thaa Photo Gallery
