Rahman to take a break from films
Music maestro A.R. Rahman has decided to take a substantial break from films this year.
In an interview to a leading daily, he said that after completing Imtiaz Ali’s Rockstar, he would take an year’s break from films. Reportedly the news has created panic among Rahman loyalists like Ashutosh Gowarikar, Mani Ratnam and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, who work with the Oscar winner.
Looks like the directors and Rahman fans have to wait for one long year for new music from him! After all, a Mani Ratnam film without Rahman’s music is just unimaginable!
