Ajith and Vijay were both shooting for their films 'Mankatha' and 'Velayudham' respectively at the Binny Mills complex in Chennai. After knowing Vijay is also there in the same complex Ajith went and met his good friend for a chat.

The unassuming souls spend some time talking about various things personal and professional.  In the afternoon Vijay came for lunch with family to Ajith's caravan. There Vijay presented Ajith with a stunning watch and Ajith himself cooked and served his special biriyani to Vijay and his family for lunch.

They put all rumours to rest and have proved friends are always friends. When the day was through Ajith and Vijay thanked 'Mankatha' director Venkat Prabhu for making the moment happen on his sets.
The shooting of 'Mankatha' is progressing faster than expected and more than 40 percent of the movie is complete.  To be precise 3 songs 1 fight sequence and 40% of talkie portion is complete.
