Siruthai is a perfect entertainer: Karthi
Karthi is very excited about his upcoming Pongal release Siruthai. For the first first the actor will play a dual role: an honest police officer and a pickpocket. Siruthai is the remake of Telugu hit Vikramarkudu, which had Ravi Teja and Anushka in the lead roles. ‘I like the Telugu version a lot. This film is a mass emotional drama with many powerful characters. I have also tried full length comedy with Santhanam. The director has done lots of research to make sure that the film suits the Tamil audience well,’ Karthi said in an exclusive interview.

According to Karthi, the major highlihts of the film will be its thrilling action sequences choreographed by Ganesh and Santhanam’s witty one liners. ‘Tamannaah will be seen in a new avatar and you will definitely enjoy the film,’ he assured.
Music by Vidyasagar has already created a lot of buzz in the industry. ‘Siruthai’s music has lots of variety and for the first time I have a opening song and a kuthu number, ‘ Karthi said. He added, ‘Climax sequence will be a never-seen-before act in Kollywood. We have shot a risky stunt sequence in an iron bridge. Siruthai will be a perfect family entertainer this Pongal.’
