The satellite rights of Siruthai have been procured by Vijay TV for a whopping 3.80 crores.
Generally, it is Sun TV and Kalaignar TV that jumps in the race of acquiring the satellite rights but it is interesting that Vijay has paid such a huge sum for this Karthi-starrer.

Reports suggest that Siruthai, directed by Shiva, is weaved around an impressive story and Vijay was set on getting the satellite rights.

With Vijay entering the fray for satellite rights, looks like Sun and Kalaignar will have a tough competitor for good movies in the future.
