Karthi is all smiles to talk about 'Siruthai', his Pongal release, as he believes firmly that the film will raise the bar for commercial movies. "It will be on the lines of 'Dhool' and 'Ghilli'," says the actor.
"For the first time, I am playing a dual role. One is Rocket Raja, a small time pickpocket, while the other is Rathnavel Pandian, an honest police officer. The film will come with some surprises," he says.
Happy about sharing the screen space once again with Tamannah, his 'Paiyaa' co-star, the hot and happening actor says, "We are comfortable with each other and she is a great colleague to work with."
On Santhanam, with whom he attempted comedy in 'Siruthai', Karthi says, "his timing sense is amazing. Our scenes in the first half of the movie will sure tickle the funny bone of the audience." 'Siruthai' is directed by Siva and produced by Studio Green.
