Suriya, Oberoi kickstart Chennai Open Tennis 2011
Suriya and Vivek Oberoi were trying to eliminate each other in Rattha Charithram (Rakht Charitra). But they were trying their hand at a friendly elimination when they kickstarted the Aircel Chennai Open Tennis Tournament with an opening match. Suriya is also the brand ambassador of the telecom company Aircel, the main sponsor of the tournament. Indian tennis stars Mahesh Bhupathi, Leander Paes and Somdev Devvarman participated in the tournament.
