Television is no more a taboo for high profile film makers. Director K. Balachandar was the first one to discover the power of television in the 90s. Later many followed him yet television stands at a distance to reputed film makers. That scenario may soon change once for all.
Gautham Menon is all set to do a detective television series for a Tamil satellite Channel and the works have already started.
The tele serial will be a sophisticated police story featuring Parthiban in the main role. He may be called either Anbu Selvan or Raghavan in the series.
Will this take away Gautham's bond with the big screen? We don't think so. He will be as busy as ever in cinema with more films.
His 'Nadunisi Naaygal' is releasing on this Friday and that will be followed with Veppam. He has also announced the recommencement of his cherished film 'Chennayil Oru Mazhaikalam'.
More over Gautham has also expressed his desire of directing Rajini and Kamal together for a film. So there is a lot more left for Gautham fans.

Now the question is who is going to broadcast this? Sun TV / Kalaingar TV / Vijay TV?
