The corporate structure in the line of production is slowly spreading in Kollywood too. This culture has initially started in Bollywood and later moved into south.

Leading corporate production houses UTV and Moser Baer are now plans to produce more number of in Tamil in 2011. Both the companies will be making the film jointly and their initial production film is Dhanush starrer Erandam Ulagam directed by Selvaraghavan. Next projects are one with Kamal Hassan and the other with Chiyaan Vikram. Right now talks are on with the directors and the official results will be out soon.

For making a standard operation both UTV and Moser Baer are establishing an office here in Chennai. This gives them an opportunity to produce highest number of films in the coming future. Adding to this UTV is in plans to import some of the Hindi films into Kollywood and remake them into Tamil jointly with Moser Baer as they hold the rights of those films.
