This was the hot boiling controversy running in Sandalwood for quite sometime now and finally the producer's came out with this decision. It's the films producer Ganesh, the KFCC general secretary, has given a complaint on Divya. The reason for Divya not attending the promotional event is that the producer Ganesh has taken a loan of Rs 10 lakh from the actress and failed to return back Rs 3.7 lakh. Divya who got irritated with this has kept herself away from the audio release.

But the film artiste association came in support of the actress and have asked the producer to give his apologizes.

By acting in response to this issue Divya Spandana said "Banning me and my films doesn't make any sense as I have already declared that I am going to quit Sandalwood. I am waiting for Ganesh to pay back my money".
