It looks like Bollywood stars are keeping an eye on Kollywood releases. Until now its only Salman Khan who is keen in doing Kollywood remakes but now Akshay Kumar joins with him as he is in plans of doing the remake of KO.
The actor has recently watched the special screening of KO in Mumbai and fell in love with the film instantly. The way KV Anand chronicled the life and times of a press photographer has impressed him and he took a decision to buy the remake rights of the film.
Akshay called director KV Anand and congratulated him for bringing such a good film on the lives of the journalists. Currently Akshay is in negotiations with RS Infotainment the producers of KO. After buying the rights, Akshay might produce the film under his Hari Om Movies and wants his close buddy Anthony D'Souza to direct the remake.
Akshay Kumar is popularly known for giving some of the best film in Bollywood, let us wait and see how well the magic of KO works out in Bollywood.
