Grand intro for Vijay in 'Velayudham!'

Here are more interesting and never-revealed-before facts coming your way from 'Velayudham' as we promised last week. Vijay is helming the project with Genelia and Hansika Motwani as his heroines. Like all his other films this film too introduces the hero with a song.

The song, sources from the team reveal, has been made at a whooping budget of 2 crores. The song has been filmed from Thirumoorthi Hills. The song spans the typical art forms of villages in Tamil Nadu like Mayilattam, Uyilattam, Kollattam and the likes with more than 200 performances performing unanimously.

The intro song also features around 150 international dancers performing international art forms. There are also models from Mumbai shaking a leg and Russian artists performing for this song. Vijay Antony is the music director of this film, and he has hit five tracks for this film's album. A couple of songs have been filmed abroad. There are reports that 'Velayudham's music might hit stands on May 14th.

Almost eighty percent of the filming is complete with one song and the climax scene yet to be shot, say sources close to the director.
