K.V. Anand is currently basking in the success of his latest political thriller Ko, which had Jiiva, Karthika, Ajmal Ameer and Piaa Bajpai in the lead roles. And now the director is ready with his next film Matraan which will have Suriya playing the lead. Reportedly the cinematographer-director wrote the script of Maatran before Ko, but due to certain date hassles, the film didn’t take off. Anand and Suriya were a part of the successful Ayaan previously. Kajal Aggarwal, Tapasee and Samantha are being considered for the female leads.
