Shriya Saran, South India's heart throb will be giving live performance at the IPL 2011 opening ceremony today in Chennai. The actress will be performing for some Tamil songs along with Bollywood Baadshah Shahrukh Khan. The ceremony of IPL 2011 is going start at 3.30pm.

In fact Shriya was busy shooting for her Hollywood film Winds of Change directed by Deepa Mehta in Srilanka. She has taken a 36 hours break from the shoot and has been to Chennai by catching the immediate flight from Srilanka for IPL ceremony. Shriya is all excited about the IPL launch session as she is an ardent fan of cricket.

Shriya says "As of now I can't disclose anything about my performance at present as it is an element of surprise to the audience. I will be leaving after the match gets over to Srilanka as my presence is required for tomorrow's early morning shoot over there".
