Kollywood stars have exercised their franchise in the Tamilnadu State Assembly Polls which were held on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 in Chennai.

From Rajinikanth to Kamal Hassan, leading lights of the Tamil film world Wednesday voted in the Tamil Nadu election.

Super star Rajinikanth, who resides in the posh Poes Garden area here, voted at the nearby Stella Maris College. Kamal Haasan voted in a school near his residence in Alwarpet.

Actor-turned-politician and DMDK founder leader A. Vijayakanth voted in Virugambakkam — also in Chennai.

Hero and car racer Ajith, Surya and his actor father Sivakumar also exercised their franchise along with actors Vishal, Arya, comedian Vadivelu and heroine Sneha.

All the stars and politicians were standing in a queue and also preferred not to bypass the queue system.

Kollywood stars surely have set an example!
