It was earlier known that Tamannaah is going star in remake of Bollywood film Band Bajaa Baraat. But now K-town is at a buzz that its Trisha is going to star in the remake.

The film stars Ranveer Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles and both of them excelled in the characters of wedding planners. Yash Raj Films has produced the film and sources reveal that the remake is going to be produced by UTV Motion Pictures. If all goes well Trish will reprise the role of Shruti Kakkar played by Anushka Sharma in the original version. It looks like Trisha is the hot happening heroine in south for remakes. In Telugu her film Teen Maar is the remake of (Love Aaj Kal) and currently she is busy doing the remake of Kaavalan.

Sources close to Trisha say that the actress has been approached for the Band Baaja Barat remake in Tamil and Telugu.
