In preparation of donning the role of renowned freedom fighter Muhammed Abdul Rehman Sahib in his upcoming Malayalam film titled Veeraputran directed by P.T. Kunjumuhammed, popular Malayalam-Tamil actor Narain visited Ponnani and met freedom fighter and writer M. Rasheed, a contemporary of Muhammed Abdul Rehman Sahib.
The actor was accompanied by the director who is busy with the pre-production of Veeraputran, based on the life of Sahib. The meeting lasted for about one and a half hours and Rasheed, who is more than 80 years old, was excited while talking about Sahib, a report said. The shooting will start shortly. Veeraputran is set in the pre-independence era between 1915 and 1945 in Malabar area of the then Madras Presidency.
