Chiyaan Vikram who is moving on a slow pace in his career always takes much time to listen to the scripts and decides whether to act in the film or not. But for the last couple of years what's wrong with him while listening can't be understood as he is picking all flop scripts and left awesome scripts like Ghajini and Kaakka Kaakka when they came his way.

Both the films first knocked the door of Vikram but he was unable to decide about the success of the script. But Suriya who grabbed these projects has earned superstardom and took the top seat in Tamil cinema as an actor. Kollywood filmmakers came to a decision that Suriya can do any kind of role if given. Now Vikram seems to be on a signing spree and recently director Gautham Menon has approached Vikram to narrate the story. After the narration got completed Vikram immediately accepted to star in the film. The film might move on to the sets after Gautham is free from the Hindi version of Vinnaithandi Varuvaya gets completed.

As per the snoopy sources its known that Vikram is going star in the film Karikalan directed by Kandein Kaadhalai fame Kannan. Bollywood hot happening beauty Katrina Kaif is going to pair opposite Vikram in this film.
