Arulnidhi's second film Udhayan, directed by Chaplin, is all set to grace theatres soon. The film is a city-based subject packed with lots of action and sentiments. Kannada actress Pranitha plays the female lead. In Udhayan, expected to be a commercial potboiler, Arulnidhi plays the role of a bank officer. Udhayan also has Santhanam, Banu and Ashish Vidyarthi in prominent roles. Interestingly, star kid Shruti Haasan has sung a song composed by debutant music director Manikantkadri.

Meanwhile, Arulnidhi has already begun his third film Mouna Guru, directed by debutant Shanthakumar. The film will be produced by Shanthakumar's father Tamilarasu under their home banner Mohana Movies.
