Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Kaavalan which turned as a stupendous success is now selected for the 14th Shanghai International film festival (SIFF) in China. SIFF is one of the most prestigious festivals held in Asia.

Kaavalan stood as turning point for Vijay's career and he is praised for his performance in the film. Kaavalan got selected from nearly 2500 odd films from various countries in the world in the Panorama section by the SIFF. The 14th SIFF festival is going to start from June 11 and Ilayathalapathy Vijay is likely to grace the event on the day when Kaavalan will be screened.

Kaavalan getting selected for SIFF is definitely another feather on Vijay’s hat.
