Mankatha, the eagerly awaited film of Ajith is all set to complete its shoot by May 31. The team is currently stationed at Hyderabad and will be wrapping up the final schedule over there.

After returning from Hyderabad, director Venkat Prabhu will get busy in doing some graphics and post production work which will reportedly run for a month. According to this plan the producers of the film are looking forward to release the film during July second week. Thala will be hitting his 50^th film with Mankatha while Trisha hits 40^th film in her career.

The basic plot of Mankatha runs on gambling but the entire film doesn't revolve on cricket betting as it deals about all sorts of gambling.

Mankatha directed by Venkat and produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri’s Cloud Nine, has an ensemble star cast which includes Trisha, Arjun, Lakshmi Rai, Anjali, Premji, Ashwin, Vaibhav, Mahat and others.

Mankatha has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
