Son of legendary actor Sivaji Ganesan and well-liked actor Prabhu, , will be awarded with an honorary doctorate by Sathyabama University, for his enormous contribution to Indian cinema.
Prabhu will be felicitated on May 12 at the university campus on the eve of convocation ceremony of the varsity. He has acted in more than 150 films in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada. His has done lead roles in many films and later ventured into several types of roles, including comedian and character roles. He is well accepted by the audiences for his perfect and natural acting skills.
Currently he is planning to launch his son Vikram Prabhu, the third generation of Sivaji Ganesan's family with the film is titled as Deiva Thirumagan.
