Contrary to reports that Superstar Rajinikanth’s much awaited Rana has been shelved due to his ill health, director K.S. Ravikumar has now confirmed that the project is very much on. The director also confirmed that the film’s shooting has been postponed tentatively due to Rajni’s health issues.

“Rana is Superstar Rajni Sir’s dream project and his brain child and hence he is very keen on undertaking it and completing it successfully. His ill health might have caused a minor glitch initially in our shooting plans, but Rajni sir is all positive about recovering and getting back into action. Any and every newscast that you might have witnessed in any media confirming the project dropped is, we are sorry to state, completely false,” Ravikumar was quoted as saying.

Meanwhile. sources from the hospital reveal that the actor ‘s condition has improved and he will be shifted to the ward soon.
