When producer- distributor Udhayanidhi Stalin decided to start his acting career many directors stood in queue at his office to grab the chance of directing him. But finally it's was director Rajesh who locked the chance of directing Udhayanidhi. Even our producer has plans of working in a comedy entertainer for his debut film and Rajesh's script matched his decision so this is how Oru Kal Oru Kannadi happened.
Currently the shooting is progressing in Chennai and soon after completing the film he is going star in a film directed by KV Anand. In fact Udhayanidhi who holds the distribution rights of KO has got deeply impressed with the way KV Anand has made the film. This made Udhayanidhi to come to a decision to work with KV Anand for his next film.
Meanwhile, KV Anand turned busy with the pre production works of Suriya starrer Maatran and simultaneously he is working on this project too.
