After Mysskin’s crime thriller Yuddham Sei in which we saw a lady (Lakshmi Ramakrishnan) taking up a gun to shoot down her enemies, the same is repeated in director Kannan’s forthcoming Jiiva starrer Vanthaan Vendraan. Here, the lady is actress Tapasee!
Tapasee has been taking lessons from a professional shooter on how to hold a gun, to aim and to fire, since this is the first time she’s getting to hold a gun for a film. The actress will be seen chasing a person through the busy streets of Mumbai with a fully loaded gun.
Talking about her gun experiences, the actress said in an interview: "We got a professional shooter on the sets and he taught me how to hold a gun and aim at a target. The gun was very heavy and I practised hard because I didn’t want to hold it in a loose manner. My trainer had warned me that if I was not careful, my skin might get stuck in the joints of the gun. With so many instructions running through my head, I was struggling to remember my dialogues. I couldn’t wait to finish those portions.”
The film has the actress playing a chirpy lass in the first half and her character changes dramatically in the second half. “In the second half, my character turns serious and adamant. I want to get a person killed and when no one is willing to help me, I decide to take matters into my own hands,” she added.
