Ilayathalapathy Vijay who is currently busy with the shoot of his forthcoming film Velayudham has met Captain Vijayakanth to congratulate him as he has successfully taken the post of the Opposition leader.

Vijay has met him at his office and presented him with a flower bouquet. Vijayakanth has joined hands with AIADMK and witnessed the victory during the recent elections. Apart from Vijay, other celebrities from the industry like Ameer, Cheran, and Vijayakumar were also been in the list to congratulate Vijayakanth, who is fondly known as Captain.

Vijay's father SA Chandrasekhar also Congratulated Captain on attaining the success and it can be noted here that Vijayakanth is close to Vijay's family as he acted in many films which were directed by SA Chandrasekhar.
