It is well known that Akshay Kumar is in plans of doing the remake of KO in Hindi. In fact the actor after watching the film has immediate fell in love with the script and also liked the way of narration done by director KV Anand. Akshay even called KV Anand and wished him on the success of the film. According to the sources its known that the actor is even looking forward to sign KV Anand for directing the Hindi version too.
On the other hand, Akshay Kumar’s production house has called Ajmal to reprise the role of Vasanth in the Hindi remake. The actor is currently in discussion with the Hindi filmmakers and is expected to leave to Mumbai sometime next month to have a talk on the same.
Ajmal says, "After KO, I have heard nearly 20 scripts and have finally short listed only three. I will be working on them very soon. I don't want to repeat same kind of roles as that will not appeal the audiences; instead it gives a bore feel. I am looking forward to play fresh and new character every time"
Actress Karthika is also expected to reprise her role as a feisty journalist in Hindi version too.
