Film Employees Federation of South India (FEFSI) and Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) are holding discussions for better pay packages and other facilities to the members in the council of 23 different associations.
On Friday an emergency meeting was called on in Chennai by both the bodies in which important office-bearers of FEFSI and TFPC were spotted. They have discussed the demands raised by the workers. FEFSI is looking to hike the wages of the employees for every three years and is also streaming for a particular working schedule like eight hours of work per day just similar to other industries.
But no conclusions or decisions have been made during the last night meet, hence the federation will be holding a meeting today at TFPC office on the Film Chamber premises.
