It is during few hours back we have seen an update regarding Taapsee introducing her sister Shagun Pannu to the tinsel town. Now we hear that yet another member from the Kasthuri Raja family is making his debut with Mallukattu. His name is Varun, who is the cousin of Selvaraghavan and Dhanush.

Varun will pair Honey Rose, of Singam Puli fame while the movie is being directed by Muruganadham, who had earlier worked with ace director Vikraman. His guru is known for his quality family entertainers and Muruganadham also followed him by making a family entertainer. The film is a full length family entertainer with love, sentiment, emotions, drama and comedy. Sabesh Karthik, Bharath Reddy and Shadika played pivotal roles. The movie is extensively shot in Theni and its outskirts.

Music is rendered by Taj Noor and he has given an album with mix of peppy, melody and dancing numbers. T D Prathaban and S.Nandhagopal have produced the film.
