She made her on screen debut in Telugu film but luck didn't favour her as the film went on to be average grosser. But in Tamil her film opened up big and completed 50 days of run successfully. But surprisingly the actress didn't get any exciting offers in Tamil after KO. Karthika has appeared in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam but none of the filmmakers are looking out to cast her in their films.

Recently we reported that Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar is going to remake KO in Hindi and on knowing this Karthika's mother has approached him for asking him to let Karthika reprise her role as a feisty journalist in Hindi version too.

According to the grapevine, Akshay Kumar politely approved to her request and an official announcement is awaited from Akshay Kumar.

Well let's see whether Karthika makes her Bollywood debut with Akshay or not?
